This has been asked before and NOT answered. How do we get rid of the annoying blue dot/circle that now shows up in the taskbar area, atop the AVG icon. The only way to clear it is to clear all messages. The only offered solution is silent mode, which removes all notifications. This is clearly a bug, but is constantly ignored by AVG help people.

Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
