I activated a free account several weeks ago.  On 09/07/24, I was informed following a scan that my trial free activation was expiring that day.  I purchased an upgrade for one year and it was installed.Yesterday during routine word processing, my laptop froze.  To unfreeze it, I had to shut down.  Following that, on attempted re-start, my Windows operating system failed and I could not open  Windows. A system message stated that it was possibly due to an in my compatible software installation.  The subscription is only 2 days old. I would like to cancel it and seek a refund of my paid subscription fee.  How can this be accomplished?  I paid a discounted one year fee of $31.90 on a credit card.  Can you help me with cancellation of my subscription and refund of my fee?  I won't be using the AVG service on my new laptop.
