I have a an active avg subscription on my laptop which has renewed automatically and payment has been taken.
but when i look at ’ My subscriptions’ on Avg.com.
it says i have no subscriptions, so I can’t cancel and request a refund.
I did not have renew set or request it. there was no email to say its renewing.
none of their phone numbers work apart from buy a new product and they say they cant see it either so cant help, and to call my bank.
You can try contact AVG by TrustPilot but the best way is to contact your bank/payment provider and explain there is no way to contact AVG to unsubscribe. Raise this as an unauthorised transaction. Take screenshots as evidence.
That sounds really frustrating. I’d recommend logging into AVG using the exact email tied to your subscription, sometimes it’s different from what we expect. If it still doesn’t show up, contact AVG Support via their online chat or email support form and provide your payment details (without sensitive info). Hopefully, they can trace it that way.
