Support doesn't do the job and I can't get the chat thing back

I got a new licence code for AVG Internet Security…the program wouldn't accept it…so I went to online support…and found the chat part…Ganesh took remote control of my computer…removed AVG and reinstalled with the new code…now when i open it up it is still showing the old code and saying it expires tomorrow…and now when i fill out the support form…it won't give me an option to chat again…it just sends me to this stupid nerd page…this is bloody awful service and happens every single time i have to update with a new code when I renew.
