Hello Peter. Could you please let me know whether it is your PC hung up during AVG scan or the AVG scan alone freezes upon reaching 61%?

Hi there, the scan gets progressively slower and then the AVG scan freezes. On trying to pause or stop the scan, an error message indicates the programme is not responding.

my system hangs partway through a scan and I am unable to complete a scan. No errors we dispalyed to that point but I have never got passed 61% of completion. What can I do?
