Has there been a problem with a recent issue of AVG. Earlier this week AVG told me 'I was not protected' update required ; I thought updating was done automatically, nevertheless I did so. After that I encountered numerous problems viz being unable to log-on because a file was missing so having to create a new user account for myself, pop-up messages telling me that certain apps had been prevented from accessing a protected folder and not being able to save any open office documents. This continued for a few days then on Friday, as if by magic , the problems disappeared but I was told by AVG that a Restart was required.

Do you see the message 'Protection is disabled'?
Please restart your PC and check if you see fully protected message is displayed on AVG interface.

AVG tells me I am fully protected.
Are you aware of any recent issues with AVG which could have caused my problem.
I don't think I need any further assistance , unless you can suggest what might have caused the problem.
