I am seeing AVG Secure Browser attempting to reach Server across the globe on TCP Port 8989
As this port is a know Rcon/Xcon trojan,  is this expected?

My name is Jovana and I'm with AVG senior support. 

This port is in use by the AVG Secure Browser's built-in high-performance VPN. 
The browser uses it to determine the node which provides optimal performance according to the user's location. 

We'll change the appropriate port to a less critical one in one of the next releases.
