Am running AVG 17.6.3029.
Would like to temporarily disable AVG while installing system updates.
I do not see how to do that with this new version.
Right click on Taskbar AVG icon indicates Protection is ON.
Does sliding the indicator to Protection OFF accomplish the same thing?
Older version gave options on suspension duration.
This mechanism indicates 'until restart'.

Yes, if you slide the cursor for AVG Protection it will disable AVG temporarily and a window will appear for you to choose the time.
