AVG Web TuneUp unwanted popup 8-15-18

All of your replies are wrong. When I click on "Remove from Chrome" option, it does it temporarily. It returns. There is nothing in my PC with AVG so it doesn't appear in "Programs and Features". I don't know how this started but it doesn't appear in Chrome extensions either. The popup appears on my Google Chrome browser, I didn't request it, I don't want it, it's not in my computer. It's just a pain in the ass.

Your product invited itself again unto my Google Chrome browser. As you can see in the screenshot, I'm using iObit Unistaller to delete it again. What is it with you people? Why can't you control this?AVG Web TuneUp unwanted popup 8-22-18

Edward,

If I were you I would feel the same. Let's have a look at it together. Please get connected with our technical team using the link sent by Karthikeyan. We will check and escalate if required. Your patience is much appreciated.

Today, Saturday, August 25, 2018, two separate AVG technicians took over my computer and neither was successful in permanently removing the trigger that allows the AVG Web TuneUp popup to appear on my Google Chrome browser homepage. As soon as each finished, confident that they had been successful the popup appeared and could be found by iObit Advanced System Care PRO in Extensions. Pervasive, to say the least. Get ready to buy me a computer and you can have mine to conduct research on for AVG can't even solve its created problems. For shame.

I can't believe you people. 2 trusted technicians tried to fix this headache and failed. Do you really think it takes a developers team to fix what should be an easy problem? Why do you make it difficult to control situations such as this? I want my computer totally free of your virus, for that is what it is. Even ESET could not fix it!

@Edward Lopez I think your issue needs to be escalated to president Donald Trump so he could fix the problem once and for all :+1:

Alok: How long is your "soon"?  9/13 then, 9/21 today.
Edward

It has never happened before with gmail but, sure enough, it seems to have gone straight to trash. I followed the instructions and I'm waiting for an answer. Will I receive one after the scan results are analyzed? I did it a few days ago.

So, folks, here it is Sep. 13, '18, and as you can see in the attachments I'm still having the same ol' problems. Yesterday, an escalated technician, Azhar…, took over my computer (3rd time!) and it looked like he was going to conquer the big , bad, ol' bug or virus. I had peace on the computer until 12:32 am when popup returned. Imagine, 3 top AVG technicians with Azhar allegedly superior to the previous 2 techs and the popup attacks my computer again. A week ago I found somewere after a Google searchh for problems with unwanted AVG that someone said that AVG will resort to make you pay them to get rid of certain problems probably like mine. Perhaps it's time for me to confer with a lawyer.

You force me toregister and enter a product or I can't send this form. You are out of line as I don't have any AVG product or software in my computer. Yet every time I turn on my PC I see a popup that warns me that your AVG Web TuneUp extension has been added to my Google Chrome and I have to click on remove from Chrome. You don't give advice on how to stop this unwanted addition. AVG is NOT in my computer. Your popup is a pain in the ass. How do I stop this intrusion?

If I was a lawyer I would find ways to fine AVG for mental cruelty. I'll never use any of your products.
