Hi Kevin.
We're sorry for the delay in responding. You are repeatedly receiving the threat detection pop ups from AVG because the suspicious email was not properly deleted from Outlook. The email is still available on your email server and repeatedly downloaded to outlook (hence the repeated threat secured warnings).
How to remove it:
Temporarily disable AVG Email component > Download messages in Outlook > locate and delete suspicious email > click on send receive button in Outlook > Enable AVG email shield.
To disable email shied temporarily, follow the steps in this article.
The threat secured window won't go away after it asked to scan which i did , there was no problem but threat window keeps popping up every couple of seconds…very annoying. What do i need to do to get it to stop.
I have selected the refresh icon and my AVG virus definitions are uptodate and restarted my PC but the threat window keeps popping up.
Yes i saw that. I deleted the email. I never opened the attachment. I also deleted all emails sitting in the trash. I no longer have access to the original email.

Thank you for the screenshot.
It seems that the threat was found in an email that you received via Outlook and the file detected was "Payment Proofs.exe".
Do you still have the email through which you received this "Payment Proofs.exe" file?
