'Threat blocked' / 'Creating exception...' window stays open forever

For some reason lately when I've chosen to add blocked threats to my exceptions, the window stays open forever:

Any idea why? Known bug?

As we're uncertain about the exact pop up that you receive, would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of it for better clarity?

Hi Dinesh, it was added to the list of exceptions.  I did restart and it happened again, then I performed a manual update of AVG (to 20.9.3152 (build 20.9.5758.609)) and restarted again, and it hasn't happened since.  I'll update here in a few days to confirm whether the problem has gone away.
