Threat Blocked InstallFlashPlayer.EXE

Hello Dudley,
We'll certainly take a look into this for you.
Did you try in alternative browsers say Edge, Firefox and check the status?
Could you share us the screenshot of threat message including the detection dialog, with 'See details' in the bottom-right corner displayed?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
(Free version AVG on Windows 7) This notification occurred upon opening Google Chrome to Outlook.com.  As soon as the page loaded, I received a Threat Block popup from AVG.  I had 12 Windows updates that were pending and eventually updated.  I updated AVG and Malwarebytes.  No threats on scans.  Please confirm if this is a false positive I can ignore it in quarantine or if there are any next steps as I do not want to impede Flash if there is no problem.  Thank you.

Threat Blocked Install Flash Player

Thank you for the screenshot.

This threat seems to have occurred from a temp folder.

Please remove all the temp files on your computer and check if that stop this pop-up.

Open "Run command" by pressing and holding Windows key and R.

From here enter "Temp"(without quotes) and delete all the files listed in the temp folder.

Similarly, open run command and type as "%temp%"(without quotes) and delete all the files listed in the folder.

Restart your computer and check if that fix this threat pop-up issue.
