On regular checking with MS Defender as a "complementary/redundant" security "barrier" I have "initiated recommended actions" to remove the following threats, which tend to reoccur at infrequent intervals:
HackTool.Win32/BrowserPassview (dominat) and HackTool.Win32/Wirekeyvew (sometimes)
As AVG is the "primary barrier" I am concerned these threats are not at all detected, only during the occasional "double-checks" with MS Defender, which means I have no overview of how long these threats (marked as "severe" by Defender) have been "lurking" in my system(-s? I have a multi-user license) and who and what they are used by and for?
The latest (re-)occurence was detected today during another Defender scan, and checking with AVG still "no problems"? This does not exactly instill a high level of confidence in my "security" programs and "level", so any ideas on how to be secure apart from being totally disconnected from the internet is welcome, as "security" seems more and more like a fantasy with the escalating cybercrime.
