Seems like you’re at the point where you need professional advice from a consumer organisation or even a lawyer. Do you not have a family member who could help out?
I see you’re in the USA? I’m in the UK so I can’t really advise on that but over here we have an organisation called Citizens Advice who offer free advice to people like yourself in circumstances like this.
What I would say is that if the card associated with your PayPal account is now expired it should be impossible for them to take any more money. You probably shouldn’t sign up for anything else with AVG until it’s resolved you’ll probably only make matters worse.
