Tracking Cookies

I have full AVG Internet Security and AVG Secure VPN subscriptions
Recently I am getting a AVG message saying my computer has a tracking cookie on it.
To resolve it I must purchase another AVG product.
How can Tracking Cookies not be part of an AVG Internet Security Package.
If this is the case I will not be renewing my subscription.
Please advise.
Thanks.
Robert

Hello Robert,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We'll certainly clarify this for you.
Initially, we'd like to inform you that the pop-up you're referring to, is a promotional campaign/advert for our AVG AntiTrack program.

Else, please follow the below steps to disabled adverts in your AVG Internet Security:
AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Personal Privacy > Offers > kindly disable/uncheck the following options under 'Offers':

  • Share app-usage data with AVG so we may offer you upgrades or our other products.
