Trial AVG Tune up deleted my old version Tune Up Utilities 2012

I trialled the new AVG TuneUp but in downloading it my old TuneUp Utilities 2012 was overwritten and lost. I want this back as the difference to me between the old version and new is not worth the money.
I asked AVG to reactivate my old version. But even after they gave me the download link they would not supply the Product Code to activate it.
They insist I buy a new version or seek professional  PC help to locate the deleted file.
This is totally unacceptable. So readers if you want to keep your old version DO NOT BUY AVG products
