Trial Message Always Reappears after one Scan

Running AVG Clear Tool and re-installing AVG Free appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.

I have been using AVG Antivirus Free for Windows for some years but just recently it has been saying “Your Internet Security trial has expired”.  I have tried following the instructions on “Removing AVG trial message and continuing with free protection”, i.e. uninstalling AVG then downloading and installing AVG Free, but it then only does one scan before once more saying “Your Internet Security trial has expired”.
Could someone please tell me how I can get back to using AVG Free.
Thanks for your help.

Roger,

We request you to download and install AVG Antivirus free without entering your email and password.

To make certain I have just uninstalled AVG free then downloaded and reinstalled it without entering my email and password. The result is still the same, i.e. “Your Internet Security trial has expired”. I have taken a screen shot which I will try to attach.User-added image
