Earlier this month AVG Found 18 threats 15 Healed and 3 Unresolved Trojan Horse Generic38.OZM next day when I tried to run a virus scan it froze up. eventually I found out how to delete AVG. my first attempt at in reinstalling AVG failed but 2nd time worked . Yesterday AVG froze up again so today I decided to repair AVG which failed as notice says no active components and all in red writing. Icon on taskbar still says Now scanning your PC for threats which it isn't. I saved the repair log if you want it

When I got the viruses I was using Free AVG I then deleted the program because it was frozen and installed the trial Avg version which eventually froze up also yesterday I decided to repair AVG trial but installation failed and I was left with no virus protection but am using Defender at the moment. computer then froze up and last night I thought I would do a system restore and computer froze up in the middle of installation but it seems to be working now. How can I get AVG back working ? I have been using AVG free for over 20 years and this is the only problem I have encounted
