Dave, Search support… This is a known issue. Have a look @ this link (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000bnTVAAY).

Happened to me too just a few hours ago. I thought it was because I went to kickass torrents but after I reinstalled windows, I did NOT go to kickass but still got the trojan alert.
I reinstalled windows and then restarted again. I got the same alert. I never had any problems until now. What gives?

My AVG keeps popping up a window alerting me to a detection of "Trojan Horse - Exploit.SWF_cBAC" in an Object named "redir.adap.tv/redir/client/VPixel.swf". Then it says below it that it was secured. There is nothing in my vault, but it allows me to select "more info" which really gives me no answers on what it is or how to prevent it except that it is a threat associated with a URL and I should upgrade my AVG to Premium… I find it rather odd that this just started yesterday and after doing a complete system scan, no threats were detected, also it only seems to happen on one website which happens to be my homepage…
Is my homepage suddenly afflicted or is this a deceptive tactic by AVG to get me to upgrade ? Coincidentally, I have been getting irritating alerts from AVG to update/renew my license when it is not due for two more months…
