We regret for the inconvenience. Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.
Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been trying to remove AVG (free) from my laptop, using the AVG-romoval tool. However, it seems some parts of AVG stay active en can't be disabled via the task manager ("AVG Service (32-bits)") nor be turned off in the startup-menu ("AVG Ui (Re) Starter") - not even as adminstrator.
Furthermore, throughout my system I find AVG-related files, for example in several Windows/Sys…-maps. I'm reluctant to remove these files myself, for I would like to be sure my laptop keeps running when AVG is removed.
Can you please help me remove your product in full safely from my computer, leaving no remains and keeping my system running smoothly?
