Trouble uninstalling Anti virus for Mac

Now today I have found that I am not allowed to access my Mac password. In the same way as trying to uninstall AntiVirus for Mac, if I want to download Microsoft Office update the download freezes when I should be entering password. AntiVirus for Mac has taken over my Mac computer?

I asked a question in this forum 2 days ago about unistalling Anti virus for Mac. "It will not uninstall" I received a quick reply from a Alan Binch/AVG Guru. He asked me to "click this button and explain complete problem". I did that but have NOT received any reply via email - he said would happen.

Well, thanks to those that have replied. I seem to have got it sorted by Uninstalling AVG and then going to the link provided by Alan. I downloaded from there and was asked for my key. now all seems to be working fine.
