Okay, so here is the story. I installed the newest version of AVG Free and the PC Tuner. I used the PC Tuner to diagnose and repair the disk on my computer. It got stuck so I checked the forums and used the advice for the Check Disk mod. Which sort of fixed that problem. Well, I decided I just didn't want to mess with the mess anymore so I went to uninstall the AVG programs through Control Panel. It told me I couldn't uninstall it because it was updating, installing, or uninstalling already…So, I went back to the forums and found out about the AVG remover. It removed the PC Tuner but did not detect the AVG free software. It uninstalled the PC Tuner. I ran it again and it said it could not detect any AVG products even though AVG free was still installed on my computer. I told it to run it anyway and it removed all the files but the program itself still remains when you go through Control Panel to the Uninstall programs section. Since the PC Tuner messed stuff up I cannot use the Uninstall Programs in the Control Panel to uninstall the AVG Free. So, I am not sure what else I can do. I want the program gone because it messed stuff up when there was nothing wrong with my computer in the first place. I have spent several hours trying to fix the mess the PC Tuner created and now I am out of energy and mentally exhausted. If you have the cure, please, let me know. I really appreciate it.
