I understand the situation. Don’t worry I'll help you with your issue.

I suggest you reinstall the AVG TuneUp-Unlimited. Once installed, please open the AVG PC TuneUp and click on Speed up tab and select the startup and background program. From here check for the applications that were put to sleep mode and ignore all the applications that were put to sleep mode. And check if you are able to access Chrome now.

Does anyone else have a problem with opening Chrome, when Tune-up is installed ??

When I open Chrome it shows 'untitled' on the tab, and goes no further..

IF I uninstall Tune-up, Chrome works perfectly..

Any ideas ???
