We certainly understand that this has been a disruption. The version upgrade was automatic and the AVG TuneUp will check for updates in the background and install them whenever available.

The issue with AVG tune up recent release has been a nightmare (for many people as this forum shows).
Are these releases performed automatically or can I choose to update manually?
If it is automatic can AVG notify users in advance please?
This episode has diminished trust significantly.
