Unable to Access GMail/Comcast Email After Software Update

Hello Tom,

We appreciate your patience in this matter.
There are a few changes with latest version, hence we recommend checking e-mail client settings that the settings corresponds with what e-mail provider suggests.
If the issue persists please do let us know.
Thank you.

After the install of the new version of the software, which occurred on my computer last night, I am unable to receive/send email from Gmail or Comcast, receiving the 0X800CCC1A error ("YOur server does not supprot the connection encryption type you have specified…").  These accounts worked fine prior to the software update.  Any help would be appreciated

Hello Tom,

We completely understand the situation.
We have sent the email instructions to send us the log files of AVG for escalation to senior technical team.
Please check for the email on spam and junk folders if it is not present in the inbox.

This is NOT an answer… email worked FINE before the AVG update, and now it does NOT.  Settings were correct before, and are correct now.  The problem is changes made in AVG.  I expect a more substantive response, and fix, for this problem.  And soon.

The 0X800CCC1A issue seems to have been caused by the updated software turning on SSL Scanning; I have disabled this option, and I am now able to access my SSL-connected GMail accounts.  If this is something that can be fixcd, to allow me to have SSL connections scanned, I would appreciate it.

I am still having problems with my Comcast account, receiving a 0X800CCC0F error.

I reactivated the SSL Scanning, and the screenshot attached shows both error messages.
