Unable to connect to the VPN

Hello Enes,
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We understand that after updating windows from 10 to 11 the virtual ip of AVG Secure VPN is not working.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We will surely help you with it.
Could you please try connecting to a different VPN server and check?
I suggest that you try our P2P servers (Czech Republic, France, Netherlands, GER Frankfurt, USA Miami, NYC, and Seattle) as these are the AVG servers that have the most ports open, providing the best chance for a successful VPN connection. You can find the guide for changing the VPN server on this link: | AVG. (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=use-avg-secure-vpn#:~:text=establish%20a%20connection?.-,Change%20location,Select%20a%20country%20and%20city.)
Alternatively, I suggest you to try repair feature and check.
Right-click AVG Secure VPN, then select Uninstall. If prompted by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes. When the AVG Setup window appears, click Repair. Wait while setup repairs your AVG Secure VPN application.
Thank you.

I was using Windows 10 and the AVG Secure VPN application was working fine. However, I originally upgraded to Windows 11 without disturbing the settings and files, but while most programs work fine, AVG VPN absolutely cannot get a virtual ip. (secureline.info.requestline)

I changed the protocol, deleted and reinstalled the program and even repaired it, but it absolutely cannot get a fake ip, it says Status: Connected, but in the Virtual IP: section it says “secureline.info.requestline”. When I checked the network adapters, I noticed that there is no AVG TAP adapter. In the device manager, the “AVG Secure VPN Wintun Adapter” adapter appears and works fine, but it never appears in the Adapter Options. I deleted the driver and reinstalled it but the problem still persists. I have tried all the protocols but it definitely does not get an ip address.

VPN is allowed in Turkey because when I was using Windows 10 I could use it without any problem (including all protocols), after updating to Windows 11 I absolutely cannot get any fake ip. I contacted your live support team but they could not help. Can you please help me with this issue?

I've tried other VPN programs and they all work fine. The WireGuard protocol is compatible with Windows 11, but when I select the WireGuard protocol in the AVG program, it gives me a direct error. Can we install the WireGuard adapter manually?

Thank you for writing back to us and sharing the screenshot, Enes.
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will check and help you to resolve the issue with AVG Secure VPN.
The error code you have shared may appear when AVG Secure VPN is unable to establish a connection, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the following article: Troubleshooting when unable to establish or maintain a VPN connection (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=troubleshoot-avg-secure-vpn-connection&q=If+AVG+Secure+VPN+is+unable+to+establish+a+connection&supportType=home)
If AVG Secure VPN is still unable to establish or maintain a connection, the problem may be caused by the network policies of the Wi-Fi or cellular network you are connected to. Please try to connect and check with different network operator or internet service provider.

User-added image
As you can see in the picture, the IPv4 connection is not enabled, it says “No network access”. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the adapter several times but it does not get an IP address. Other VPN programs get virtual IPs instantly, I have tried them all. There is absolutely no Turkey-VPN ban for now.

I've tried other VPN programs and they all work fine. The WireGuard protocol is compatible with Windows 11, but when I select the WireGuard protocol in the AVG program, it gives me a direct error. Can we install the WireGuard adapter manually?
