I followed links from my AVG subscription to AVG Support. The link led to Avast. Avast just emailed to say they cannot help because they are not AVG. There seems to be no other way to contact AVG support.
How can I contact AVG support to ask questions about my subscription?
These are my two queries:
Dear Sir or Madam
Following an AVG popup from our existing downloaded AVG Antivirus I today (19 Feb 2026) renewed AVG Antivirus using stephen@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk on card ****8933 for £87.98. I now see that Habitats & Heritage’s subscription is live and is linked to it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk and that the subscription I just paid for is not listed.
It seems that I have followed the popup instructions and have been led to take out a new subscription unnecessarily. The popup gave me to understand that I was renewing a subscription, not setting up a completely new account and subscription.
I see that the subscription linked to it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk will renew under card ****8933 automatically.
The AVG was confusing and misleading and it has unfortunately caused me to make unnecessary expenditure of £87.98. I am keen to continue our existing subscription for your excellent service under it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk. Please can you refund the additional unnecessary subscription under stephen@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk, because I took it out following misleading popup warning?
I wish to continue the subscription linked to it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk.
With thanks for your understanding and support,
Second query:
Dear Sir or Madam, I have AVG subscription linked to it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk. The Subscription information tells me that the product has not be downloaded or activated on any PC. However, I use it every day, on the account linked to that email address. Please could you clarify the status of our subscription and explain why it is recorded as not activated when it is actually in daily use? Rather confused and thank you for your understanding and support, Stephen James, 07860 878 462, direct email stephen@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk - AVG account linked to it@habitatsandheritage(dot)org(dot)uk
