May I know on which operating system you are trying to install AVG Antivirus free.
Please run AVG remover followed by clear tool as mentioned in this article to remove AVG traces.
Once it is done, install AVG Antivirus free using offline installer. To download it, click on this link.

I've tried four times to install avg free after new hard drive keep getting error code 0xe00If94e

I am on windows10  ran avg remover and avg clear  tried to reinstall. it tried to install Avast but failed

Are you trying to install the Avast or AVG program?

I was trying to install AVG   I'd have to try again to get a screen shot but it just said " Installation failed 0xC00702E4 "
