Unable to log into games, developers said my antivirus was interfering

I understand the inconvenience but you have confirmed that the issue persist even after disabling or uninstalling AVG Antivirus free.
This proves that AVG isn't causing the issue.

I have been unable to log into two games recently. This isn't normally an issue because I have very slow internet and my connection is unreliable at best, but after several days of this I contacted the game developers about this issue. They told me my antivirus, AVG Antivirus Free, was causing this issue and I should try either disabling it or uninstalling it temporarily. I tried doing both but I am still unable to play these games. I contacted the developers again and they suggested I contact AVG to try and resolve my problem. I am at a complete loss as I have had this antivirus for a while now and have had no issue whatsoever.
