Unable to uninstall avg

I understand how something like this can really try your patience.
Upon carefully reviewing your account, i see that you have AVG Internet Security active in your account. To get this issue fixed, I request you run AVG remover tool in your pc and then install AVG Internet Security back in your pc to get your issue fixed. To run AVG remover tool for AVG Antivirus please follow the below steps :

http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
Accept the license agreement and then choose AVG Product and remove it.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

I have been receiving messages to input my AVG license. Repeatedly, I pasted in the (valid) license number. However, it seemed appropriate with the last message to uninstall and reinstall AVG. I'm now not able to uninstall AVG, or to fix the program. Anybody able to assist me?
