Having recently checked my credit card statement, I discover that I had been deducted £74.99 for one years subscription starting in January. Although I was not aware of the need to cancel my automatic renewal I was assumed that AVG would notify me, as stated in their terms and conditions, of any renewal information and the charges to my credit card. I did NOT received this notification.
With great difficulty, I telephoned three times to request a refund. The quality of the telephone connection was poor and I was finally cut off and , therefore, have not yet been successful.
Had I received the renewal notification, I would have been able to cancel this transaction immediately.
Please inform me of an alternative method of contacting AVG, other than the 'Live Chat' which does not appear active, preferably an email address,?
