We are sorry to know that you are unable to uninstall AVG from your Mac. To uninstall AVG, we suggest you to drag and drop the AVG icon to the trash bin and that will uninstall AVG from your computer. And once you send the AVG program to trash, please empty the trash, so that the Mac files will be permanently removed.

I want to uninstall AVG antivirus from my Mac Mini. I've read the drill about using the menu toolbar and running uninstall but I don't have a toolbar. All I get is the dashboard with the Mac scanner/ file scanner/ real time protection/ quarantine icons on it. I've run my mouse all around the screen and there are no other hot spots. I get nothing when I run the mouse over the AVG logo on the left or the up to date logo on the right The drop down at the upper right in the gray bar area at the top only has some choices about connecting to Zen. The Left/ Right arrows on the left of the gray bar at the top are grayed out.
I've already downloaded and reinstalled the app. This triggered an automatic update but did not change the interface.
What should I try now?
