We request you to go for the folder where you installed the CA Internet Security and then delete all the files and folders that are only related to CA Internet Security.
Restart your PC and then try installing AVG.

AVG Protection says I must unstall CA Internet Security (old antivirus) before AVG can install.
I have tried all uninstall methods- Windows remove programs, Revo Uninstaller, CC Cleaner
but nothings works. I had the same problem on an old computer and had to format the HD
and start over.
