Kerry, Try removing AVG by downloading & using the 32 or 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down], whichever suits your system. Hello!
AVG suddenly announced to me that nothing was working, that I had no functional features.
The support pages say ununinstall etc. It won't uninstall. Am just about going insane with the lack of support from AVG especially in that I find now I have to make an international toll call (no FREE number!) to get somebody to sort this and then when trying to get somebody to do it by chat (message) it would not come up! (Side issue: I have been with AVG for years, what on earth has happened to support??? Used to be so easy to get somebody! It has taken me hours to try and solve this and I really cannot go on-line for anything else but to try and solve this since I am totally exposed to attack. Messages as to the urgency of my situation have received no reply! If I don't have a solution it seems an approximate 15 or is it 17 year relationship is going to come to a rapid end!
Below screen capture is what I get when I try to uninstall. Firewall is not operating, swithched off, so it should not even do this! AND JUST FOUND CANNOT ATTACH AN IMAGE SINCE THIS PANEL WANTS A WEB-LINK OMG, again, what the h**l has happened to AVG?
