Uninstalling AVG from iMAC

It seems that AVG traces are still present. To remove the remaining traces present in your iMac, please follow the below steps.

  • Open Finder.
  • In menubar select Go > Go to Folder.
  • Type /Library/Application Support/ and hit the enter key
  • Locate and delete AVG folder.
This wil help you to completely remove the remainign traces of AVG. Please let us know if it helped.

I have decided to no longer use AVG. I have tried uninstalling the program. It appears that no AVG files are present in my applications or library folders. However, it appears it is still loaded on my computer. I have tried reinstalling AVG but it won't because it says it is already installed on my iMac. I have used uninstall/cleaner software with no success. I need assistance in getting this product off of my computer. It is preventing me from loading other software. Thank you for any advice.
