I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with AVG uninstallation. Please follow the below instruction to remove all the AVG traces from your computer, download AVG Remover tool at first (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), run the downloaded file, select all AVG programs and click remove (or click run anyway), please ignore the restart (if AVG remover tool ask for a computer reboot), please download AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click NO (if it's ask for safe reboot), select AVG Zen box, click on remove. Please reboot your computer once, when AVG Clear tool ask for a computer reboot.

Hi, I need to remove avg from my pc. It is listed on the programs and I receive failure to install msgs, but when I try to uninstall it in the usual way I get a msg saying there's a problem installing (yes, installing) it and I have to exit.
I used the removal tool but that denies there are any avg components on my pc, so I selected to run it anyway, but after several restarts, and doing the whole procedure twice, avg is still on my pc! What do I do next please?
