Hello Clifford,
I understand your concern.
Did you contact Kaspersky support for the steps to uninstall their application from your computer?
If not, I suggest you to contact them and remove this application.
They may have a tool to uninstall their application.
Operating System is OS X Version 10.9.5.
I have dusted off my 2012 MacBook Air to give it to my granddaughter. It had Kaspersky Anti Viruus software installed in 2012. Trouble is AVG, which is also installed now, says updates cannot be installed until Kaspersky is uninstalled. I have done everything normally suggested (like going to Applications folder and doing what is normally done) but there is no Kaspersky icon to click on. I cannot see any other place where Kaspersky is except the little 'K' in the tool bar at start-up. Nothing comes up when I click on various options in that drop-down menu. There is mention of Kaspersky being installed in the laptop's system info, but nothing more than just that info. Can anyone help please? The only option I seem to have is to dispense with AVG completely, and just endure the constant little pop-ups urging me to update my license for Kaspersky. I would like to give my granddaughter a measure of protection using AVG.
