Unknown Application shown in AVG PC Tuneup

Hello Dennis,
We regret for the inconvenience. AVG PC Tuneup will detect only the programs installed on your computer. Please check your control panel- program list for "Pruusumovxe" . If you find that in Control panel, please remove it. Also please Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.

Type %programdata% - search for "Pruusumovxe" and delete it.
Also Please go to C: drive-> program files/ Program files (86) and delete "Pruusumovxe"

Please contact us  back for further assistance.
Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I had already tried these steps.  I also unprotected all hidden files and searched for "Pruusumovxe" in all of my drives and thumbs.  A detailed search of "This PC" for all files or folders referencing the full name or Pruu or Pruu.* yielded NO hits by the Win10 search program.
At this point I have reloaded Anti-Malware Bytes and McAfee Livesafe updates and reran all scans with no success in finding "Pruusumovxe" in any file or folder.  I've also reloaded AVG PC TuneUp, updates and rescanned all my drives.  TuneUp still shows "Pruusumovxe" as an active program and allows me to put it to sleep or wake it.   During this process I used AVG Manager to view ALL open files and have found NONE that have any form of Pruu in the file names, program descriptions, or dll files.

Is there any way I can find the program file location using PC TuneUp or AVG Manager?

Until then I simply put the Pruu* program to sleep with TuneUp and continue to function in a relatively normal fashion.  While using multiple programs, I still have frequent "100% Disk Usage" issues shown via Task Manager that lock up my computer. I will be running HP Support programs to evaluate my harddrive.  I have also reviewed all of my Services Settings and reset them to Win10 defaults.  Short of reinstalling Win 10 and blasting all of my programs from the harddrive is there any other way to find this program?

I am running PC TuneUp version 16.74.2.60831
When running the "Speed Up Potential" tool,  several programs are shown to be slowing my computer.   One in particular is shown as "Pruusumovxe" which can be put to sleep. This program shows minor Slowdown severity in the program list.
I have tried a search for this App in all my files and internet with no success.  Malwarebyte Anti-Malware does not identify it as a problem and my McAfee LiveSafe antivirus also does not recognize "Pruusumovxe" as a virus.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this "Pruusumovxe" app?  My Windows 10 computer has been slowed to a halt when using File Explorer and Office and Internet Explorer in any combination.  I suspect this file may be the culprit but I cannot isolate it.    Thanks,  DJ

Hi Dennis,

We understand your concern, however, the file location cannot be determined using AVG PC TuneUp. The process might be linked with some other software and hence it is not being detected in Search options.

Thank you!
