Thank you for your response. I have the simcard inserted in my phone that i used before (the same sim). This sim is connected to the internet and the Anti-Theft pop comes up as soon as i unlock my phone with the patternlock,saying my device is lost or stolen ,please return. I logged into my profile to select my device and clicked on Unlock request but that error on your website keeps on coming up saying The device wasnt able to perform this operation.Below is the site i used to unlock my phone AVG Account. In this oprion you are ablle to remotely unlock your phone,but nothing happens. Tried this several times.What else can i do? If no other option is available,will i have factory reset my phone? Will this help?

If steps mentioned in article doesn't work for you, reverting phone to factory settings might be only option.
