I just rebooted my computer & they have gone but on are on my desktop so clicked on them both & saying I need to enter Product Key? so what is this & where do I get it?

I renewed my AVG Internet Security for 2015 yesterday, installed, scanned etc (AVG Order Re No: 31-1821217) then this morning unsolicited ads for me to purchase AVG Maintenaince & AVG PC Tune up appear on my screen when I opened me computer and they will not close & go away.So just what the h**l did I pay for yesterday of your internet issecurity is not secure??? and where does this stuff come from and this is not the first time AVG has done this to me! I want some answers please - is this spam & if so how come my renewed AVG Secirity did pick it up & get rid of it??
