My AVG antivirus (free, 17.3.3001, running on Windows 7) is placing an unwanted shortcut icon on the desktop each time I power on my PC. I have tried deleting it but it comes back when I turn the computer on again.
After searching on Google, it seems that this has been a recurrent issue in past versions of the software and the support team have already acknowledged that it is largely unwanted by customers.
Anyway, please provide a new fix for this because it is extremely annoying and affecting what's otherwise a great user experience.
