I apologize for the inconvenience caused. May I know the exact error message if it generates any when you try to update? It would be helpful if you can provide a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the issue. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
You may also try to repair AVG and check if that helps.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Internet Security in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.
tried all, result:
after repair was pushed, half way down this came up:
MFA is already running and only one instance ia allowed at a time
Error code OxE001DO26
tried push button fix it:
update detecting running installation, complete that installation…
what now?
trying to update , normally does it autom, no chance. always worked but since 9 days something foul. Have Intern Security and updates fail for Computer left window.
has dedected running installation they say, no idea what is running there. Tried all.
window fix win now came up tdy, when clicking on it, nothing happens either.
Ideas guys?
