I've recently been having this error message:
Clicking the Fix Now button doesn't seem to work. All it does is giving me an "Update completed successfully" notification but the error above remains. Any ideas? Rebooting doesn't help either.

Thank you for trying it out. Is that a 30 day trial version of AVG Protection or free version you are using? Please uninstall it and re install to resolve your issue. Please follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-Zen to uninstall "AVG Protection" and then re install it from AVG Zen.

Thank you for replying us back. While verifying your account your account you have only the AVG Performance as your active subscription. The AVG Protection and the AVG Performance are different subscription. Please click on the protection tab on the AVG Zen interface and let us know whether it is mentioned as AVG Antivirus Free on the left top corner of the program.

I had a paid subscription for it, it wasnt a free or trial version. I uninstalled it and re-installed it through Zen as you suggested. How do I reactivate my paid version? It's super confusing now with Zen and all.
- Once uninstalled download the AVG Internet Security program and activate it using the instructions on the article http://avgclick.me/InstallAV .
5. Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen.
7. Complete the installation and restart your computer.
8. Once done please follow the instructions on the article http://avgclick.me/1FmXxG7 to install the AVG performance Multidevice.
Once you installed both the products your PC will be more protected and optimized.
