Thank you for your help. I went online to AVG and discovered that Internet Security didn't appear in my list of products! I knew that it should have been active, so I called AVG. It seems that there had been an administrative glitch and they put me through to someone who updated my system remotely. It took about 2 hours to sort out, so I'm glad that I did. Anyway, it's all sorted now, thank you.

My Internet Security window is indicating that I'm not fully protected. It is telling me that a Computer and a Web update are needed. I have clicked on Fix Problem umpteen times and it tells me that I am fully up to date but these icons are still showing as needing an update. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to ensure that I am fully protected, please?

It seems that you have an older version of AVG installed on your computer.
The latest version is 18.7.
Please uninstall http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG the older version of AVG to completely remove all the traces of AVG from your computer.
Use this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection to install the latest version of AVG Internet Security.
