If you have two hard drivers then you need to install the security program on each of the hard drives.
Installing security program on single hard drive won't be protecting the other hard drive.
If you have purchased the license for only one computer then we request you to increase it to two.

im going to be upgrading my operating system
2 hard drives one pc
1 windows xp 1 windows 10
will my net security be still valid on my new operating system bearing in mind its the same pc just a new hard drive with a different operating system on it
get it ?two hard drives two different operating systems one pc

i allready have a avg account and products from avg.will the securty be on both hard drives

Yes, you have the increase the existing license of AVG to two computers or purchase a new license for AVG. So that you can install the AVG program on your second hard drive.
