Hi! I'm having the same problem. Though I've tried to resolve the virus nothing happens. I need help.
Hello Everyone!
Its my first post here and i didn't find any other questions to this issue i have in the forum.
2 days ago i scaned my pc and the scan got hard stuck at 5% (in the Browser Add Ons part) so i canceld the scan after 1 hour of no progress and then got the message that my Browser is save but i had 1 threat dedected with the folowing Info:
URL:Blacklist | https://fd7qz88ckd.com/58/43/ac/5843ac4393989cee824325896db259e7.js
I tryed to solve the problem but AVG just dosn't remove it. I also cant find a file on my pc to remove it myself.
The proplem connsists and i scaned 3 more times with the same reuslt.
I hope someone can tell me if this is realy a bad virus or not. The only problem is i cant scan my pc now because it gets stuck at 5% and never gets to scan the pc.
Hi Avinash / support team,
My AVG also show the same URL:Blacklist message when I tried to download a PDF file.
I uses Chrome. Can you check if the file is really infected or it's false alarm?

Hi Alex,
We'll be glad to help you further.
Since the threat detection path is from Google Chrome browser, I request you to reset the browser and check if you receive the same.
For the steps, refer the link below.

If you receive the same poo-up after resetting the browser, please create a new post/query in community forum for further assistance.
I have reset my browser but nothing has changed.
Hi Jacob.
Could you share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/39BOuCB) of the threat detection pop up by clicking 'See details' in the pop up?
Do you receive this when you browse internet or randomly? If it is while browsing, which web browser are you using?
Please use a different web browser and verify the issue.
