Using VPN causes my wireless printer to NOT work

Hi John,

In order to connect to your WiFi printer, both computer and printer needs to be under the same network.
When we use a VPN, it will change the IP address and hence, the devices couldn't be recognized.
This is the expected behavior of any VPN application. In order to get the printer recognized, you can disable AVG Secure VPN.
In our VPN, you can find list of servers available over the globe. You will not be able to find specific servers for each location.
Hence, VPN will detect the nearby server as your optimal location.
As for the bank website, most banks have restrictions for VPN. In such case, you need to turn OFF the VPN to use the bank website.
You can contact your bank to inquire about the VPN restriction.

i HAVE JUST RECENTLY INSTALLED AVG VPN ON MY WINDOWS 10 PLATFORM. MY WIRELESS PRINTER WILL NOT WORK WITH VPN INSTALLED AND ALSO MY BANK IS REQUIRING ADDITIONAL SECURITY QUESTIONS. THE DEFAULT LOCATION i AM SUGGESTED TO USE IS SEATTLE WASHINGTON EVEN THOUGH I AM ON VANCOUVER iSLAND,BRITISH COLUMBIA,CANADA. COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM? IF SO, THEN I CANNOT USE VPN.
