Virus definitions not updating

We see that you are unable to update the virus definitions, also we see that when you tried to uninstall and repair you were unable to find the file.
We are really sorry to know this. We'll certainly check and help you out.
We recommend using the AVG Uninstall Tool to completely remove AVG Internet Security  from your PC if uninstallation via the Start menu did not work or you see the setup is already running message. The AVG Uninstall Tool deletes all AVG Internet Security files from your PC while Windows runs in Safe Mode.

Hi,

I am getting a warning that my virus definitions are not up to date. However when selecting update now, no updates appear and the warning remains.
i have followed the advice to uninstall and repair but when selecting the avg security from the apps list and then the uninstall button windows cannot find the file and in the list no MB size is showing so I can’t uninstall.
