Hello Graham,
We are sorry to know that. To assist you better, could you please let us know if you are using free or paid version of AVG? And please send us the screenshot of the trojan detection found in your computer.
Thank you.
A Trojan (Bitcoin?) has infected my network drive. The drive is mapped, and folders in it can be selected for AVG scanning, which apparently deals with occurrences of the virus, but it comes back. Have tried reformatting the drive. How does it get in, and how to stop it? (It doesn't seem possible to integrate the drive within a 'whole computer' scan.)
Thanks. Don't know why, but 'prt sc' key does nothing, and trying to download 'AVG Screenshot' results in an error, so I don't seem able to send you a pic. Does it help if I relate the AVG dialogue from one occurence of the virus:-
Threat: Could be a Trojan horse BitCoin
Object name: \LACIE-D2\Public\Photo.scr
Severity: High
State: Secured
Identified by: Scan
Date: 26/01/2017, 19:11:38
I am currently running AVG PRO on a 30-day trial basis, gaving for years used FREE.
Graham

Graham, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Alan, thanks. Also to Karthikeyan - I apologise for apparently posting the same question twice - it looked to me that neither the first nor the second enquiry had been sent, and I was surprised therefore to find your replies this morning! Will send screenshot as requested once I have worked through the instructions - not used to this!
