Step 1: Please open Task Manger.
Step 2: Check whether AVG Scan core module is running in background. If its running twice or thrice please end the task of all process.
Step 3: If its not ended, no need to worry, try to restart your system.
Once its restarted please try to scan your system and let us know the status once.

I went to my programms in my control panel and found two AVG programms: AVG and AVG Protection. I repaired both, but when I wanted to repair AVG Protection I got a message that the reparation failed. I saved the logfile, is this helpful for you maybe? Could I share this somehow?

Ofcourse! Here is my question in english:
Since I downloaded the new update of AVG (AVG Zen) my virus scan does not work anymore. The scan starts by itself when i start my computer and is stuck at 1%. Moreover, the the scan does not stop or pause if I click on these buttons.
Is this problem familiar? What can I do to solve this?

I tried different things including the above mentioned solutions, but nothing worked. In the end I just removed AVG completely from my computer and reinstalled it. Now it functions normally! Thank you for the responses.

Sinds ik de nieuwe update van AVG heb gedownload (AVG Zen) doet mijn virusscan het niet meer. De scan start uit zichzelf en blijft hangen op 1%. Bovendien reageert het programma helemaal niet als ik de scan wil stoppen.
